Certified Behaviourist and Accredited Dog Trainer.
An Beh (N Cert) ABTC-ATI
About Me
My career in animal care commenced in 1995 when I began working in a bustling veterinary practice in Manchester. Over 30 years later, I continue to work in practice, now in a more relaxed role on Anglesey.
In 2010, I earned a post graduate certificate in animal behaviour through the ISVPS (International School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies), recognised by the RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons). This qualification allowed me to establish behavioural consultations within my practice and offer home visits.
To stay at the forefront of the field, I regularly attend Continuing Professional Development courses, ensuring I’m up-to-date with the latest methods, techniques, and science-based insights on behaviour modification and dog training.
I am proud to be a full member of PACT (Professional Association of Canine Trainers) and an accredited Animal Training Instructor with the ABTC (Animal Behaviour and Training Council). My approach is rooted in reward-based training, avoiding any confrontational methods.
Beyond training, I am a certified specialist search dog handler in victim detection, working alongside my dog as a registered team with NASDU.
As a self-employed and fully insured professional, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, effective, and science-backed support for pets and their owners.

Helping owners thrive through informed, mindful support. Helping dog's learn with awareness and through choice.
Build a Stronger Bond with Your Companion
Experience and Compassion Combined
With over 30 years in veterinary practice, I’ve had the privilege of supporting thousands of animals and their families through every stage of life. That deep, hands-on frontline experience shapes everything I do now as a dog behaviourist and trainer—from personalised 1:1 behaviour sessions to holistic well-being walks that nurture both body and mind.
I believe every animal is an individual, deserving of empathy, respect, and care tailored to their unique personality and needs. True progress comes through connection—by taking time to understand, listen, and build trust in a way that feels safe and kind.
